Even if you are not in Arizona, there are Melting Muscles graduates all over the U.S. and readers of the workbook all over the globe so email me and I may be able to direct you to someone in your area who does this technique.
What: I offer Melting Muscles Massage, Atlas and Axis Treatment, Reiki, Injury and Pain Treatment, and Life Coaching sessions, or any mixture of these within the time you have scheduled.
Where: Tucson Home Office, 7502 N Rosario Cir. The NW Tucson Home Office is between Ina Road and Magee, between Oracle Road and La Canada.
When: Various weekdays from 8 am to 8 pm by appointment. Please realize I also teach frequently so there may be blocks of days I am unavailable for sessions.
How: My approach is to engage your muscles and brain in an equal partnership. I do not fix you. When your muscles relax this is because your brain has chosen to relax them. I assist you to discover what is more natural for you.
Home Visits: I am happy to do outcalls for an added fee. Simply mapquest or google the distance one-way from 7502 N Rosario Cir. to your home, and add $1.25 per mile. If two people are receiving a massage at this location, the travel fee is only paid once.
Cost: The sessions are $90.00 for 60 minutes ($125.00 for 90 minutes). For people who cannot afford full price but need and are committed to regular sessions, I offer a sliding scale down to 60% of full fee. If you are considering sliding scale, please call me at 520-334-8950 as the scale must be decided before appointments are made. Credit cards can be used through www.paypal.com If you need to use a card, please email me in advance and I will give you instructions how to use paypal. Otherwise please bring cash or a check made out to Patrick Moore LMT. Tipping is not expected.
Package Discount: 5% off when paying in advance for five sessions. 10% off when paying in advance for ten sessions.
Advance Scheduling and Payment: After a massage, checkbooks and schedule books are difficult to operate. So if you don't mind, I think it is better to pay at the beginning of the session rather than the end (tipping is not necessary). While we’re at it, let’s schedule your next session before we begin today’s massage.
Notice of Changes: If you need to change the time or cancel, giving me 24 hours’ notice by phone, or 48 hours by email, allows me to plan ahead to perhaps offer that time to another person or service. If you cancel or change with less than this amount of time, please provide a cancellation fee of half of the normal fee. If you do not show up for an appointment without any notice, please provide the whole amount for that session. (People on sliding scale would pay not sliding, but the full fee for cancellations and no-shows). These late fees may be mailed or emailed using paypal as soon as possible, before another appointment is scheduled. If you are late for your session, I may “split the time” with you, unless I have another apointment after, in which case you forfeit the extra time. If you disagree with any of these policies, please speak to me before there is any incident, and we will come up with something that is balanced.

When we meet, I will greet you warmly and ask what is your goal or expectation for our time together today. It is your time to divide up how you like.
Draping: Massage is often done on bare skin using massage oil. When working on bare skin, I always use a top sheet to drape the rest of the body. Melting Muscles can be done on bare skin but works just as well through clothing. If you leave it to my preference, I prefer to work through clothing, this way we do not need an extra sheet to drape and no time is wasted disrobing and dressing. Please wear loose or stretchy clothes that allow your body to breathe and move freely.
Recipe: I use my intuition to help guide the session, rather than going by a pre-determined recipe. If you receive a number of treatments, it will feel different each time.
Music: I have a variety of music: classical, new age, Irish, Native American and nature sounds including birds, cicadas, ocean and rain. Some people prefer no music. If the music I chose is disturbing your relaxation, please let me know so we can make it better for you.
Speaking up: I realize it is difficult to speak your preferences when you are lying prone and relaxing. Asking for something different seems like the most difficult thing to do, so many people just keep quiet and do not speak their preferences. There is nothing wrong with you! This is simply because of the relaxation state that is similar to being nurtured as a baby. This is why it is best to state all your preferences at the beginning, before you get horizontal! Still, if anything comes to mind; different pressure, too warm or too cool, tired of working that area and want to move on to another area, please do say something! I work better with your guidance.
Talking During Session: If you prefer silence, I am happy to accommodate but please let me know this in advance, otherwise I will occasionally ask you what you are feeling, in order for me to be more and more aware of what you are experiencing, and because your answers help you to anchor your changes.
How often? Regular sessions are extremely helpful if you have a goal or a particular condition that you would like to change. I do not provide “maintenance" massage and I will never recommend more sessions if you have already met your goals. If your goal is to escape pain, I am probably not the right therapist for you. I do not want to be anyone’s “pain reliever.” If you choose me as your therapist, I will help you to embrace, resolve and naturally heal the causes of your pain. If the causes have been healed then your is naturally and permanently gone. Some issues can resolve very quickly, like tendinitis, plantar fascitis, wrist pain, etc. By quickly, I mean that some people get relief in one to five sessions. Even injuries decades-old, neck pain, and low back pain, can usually come to a peaceful and manageable state in less than a year. One factor that slows progress, is when you are still actively doing the things that cause that symptom. Even so, massage can be the support you need while you are changing those patterns.
Your participation: I enjoy working with people who are participating in their own healing by balanced exercise, balanced food choices, decreasing toxin intake, increasing creative activities, exploring spirituality, nature, supportive relationships and personal growth. I don’t expect you to be perfect! Still, the more you put in to your healing, the more I am able to put in, like matching funds. Working together makes for much faster changes, and more enjoyment for both of us. I am happy to work with people of all stages and abilities. I have experience working with people suffering from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, depression, food, light, sound, and chemical sensitivities. I have worked with people in their hospital beds including cancer, coma, AIDS, and people who were transitioning from this life. Even people in a coma can participate J.
Regions: If you have one area that is really hurting or a problem, I can work there for the whole hour, such as low back or neck. Still, if you prefer to have a full body massage, I can give equal time to your hands, feet, arms, legs, back, and neck. Given this choice, most people answer that they would like specific work on three regions and a full body massage, all in one hour! Ha! Well, we’ll give it a try.
Oils: I use only vegetable oils, never petroleum products like "mineral oil," and never oils processed to make them “water dispersible." Your skin absorbs some of the oil into your bloodstream so it is important that I use only food-grade oils. Melting Muscles can be done without oil and if you don’t have a preference, my preference would be to do most or all of the massage without oil.
Pressure: If you know how much pressure you like, please let me know in advance. Otherwise I begin with a firm but not deep pressure. People often remark that Melting Muscles allows the muscles to relax much quicker with less pressure. Melting Muscles does not hurt, and does not leave you sore the next day. Still, some people prefer a lot of pressure. I have plenty of experience and strength to provide a ton of pressure using my elbow, but only if you ask. The strokes I use are slow and firm, because this way I can sense the muscle melting as we go.
After your session I will ask how you feel, to see if we have met your expectations and needs. I like to give you a hug on the way out, if that is okay with you? Enjoy your day, see you soon!

I offer natural healing energy sessions including Reiki and other methods.
If you would like energy work, I will ask you to either tell me the issues or intentions that you would like to address, or at least to hold these issues or intentions in your mind for a moment as we begin. Once we begin, you can let go of any thoughts. People receiving energy work do not disrobe, though if any of your clothing restricts you, you may disrobe to your comfort and have a sheet to drape you. You may lie face up (supine) on the massage table during the whole energy healing session.
Reiki feels warm and comforting, happy and peaceful. I will ask you if you have a preference whether you would like my hands lightly resting on your body, or hands above, not touching the body. Talking about what you are feeling can help you to be present with the changes, which may help you support the transitions. Reiki is the same price as massage. We can spend part of your time doing Reiki and part doing massage if you like.
As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I am able to offer a further application of Reiki called a Healing Attunement. For this, you are clothed with shoes off, you sit in a chair, and it takes about ten minutes. I will ask you either to tell me the issue that you want healed, intention, or to hold this issue or intention clearly in your mind as we begin. Once we begin, please let all thought drift away. The Healing Attunement places the Reiki symbols into your heart and other chakras so that they continue working even after (and before) you leave today's session.
How is a Healing Attunement different than a Reiki Session? The Healing Attunement is the same quality and intensity of energy that is used to make someone into a Reiki Practitioner. The only difference between a Reiki Healing Attunement and a Reiki Level Attunement, is that the symbols are not given into your hands. Just as a person who receives a Reiki Level Attunement to become a Level I Practitioner has this attunement forever after, similarly, a person who receives a Healing Attunement for one issue need not ever have another healing attunement for that issue; once is all it takes. This does not mean that the person need not do anything else or be different to heal. In fact, ongoing Reiki, massage, or coaching may help your body come to agree with the Healing Attunement’s work with your energy and soul. You can include more than one issue in a Healing Attunement. Please write a list in advance.
A Reiki Healing Attunement may stand alone or be added to a 30 or 60 minute reiki session for an additional $50.00, and adds about ten minutes to your treatment time.
